I had three HE washers over the last 10 years and they were junk! After online research I told my husband this would be the last washer we would buy. The quality is great. I can tell that it is made to last bit looks like a small machine but is HEAVY! Just a watch out if you are in an old her home like I am your drain might not be able to handle the the amount of water when it drains because of the force of the pump. I had a few mishap floods but have extended the drain pipe and now no problems. The drain hose was coming out like a fire hose! Love this machine, only regret is that I didn't get it sooner! Now I'm just waiting for my dryer to give out to get the matching dryer. Even my daughter said when she buys a home she is going to get a black set.

We love our new Speed Queen top load washer. We had fancy Samsung and Magtag front load machines that did not perform well or last even 5 years. We were over certain cycles not working and water not spun out of clothes. This wasn't due to rough handling or excessive use. We are an older couple and treat our processions gently. After not be able to use half of the features on washer after service was called and then when the dryer started making a horrible noise and smelling hot we were over it. Really disappointed in the Maytag. They do not live up to the reputation they had in the past. We immediately went up to East Coast Appliance and bought a Speed Queen. Yes it cost more than other washers we could have chosen but we know how poorly they perform and they do t have the lifespan of Speed Queen machines. We are very happy with our new washer. We try to see who is going to get a load of wash going before the other. We love the no lock lid and the deep fill features. Our clothes get cleaner than they did in our old washers. Colors are brighter and clothes are softer. We are pretty sure this will be the last washer we have to buy.

#1 The knobs are so cheap & loose turn them 1/4 turn before it clicks to next setting #2 can't wash with warm or hot water on ECO mode so what's the point of having a temperature dail on the machine if you can't choose the temperature #3 the computer control board makes the same noises & beeps as the cheap GE washing machine I threw in the garbage to buy the speed squeen 🤦‍♂️ #4 I bought this machine so I could lift the lid & see what's happening inside but it shuts off every time I open the lid #5 it makes unusual knocking noises in the wash cycle sounds like a bad bearing

Both, the washer and dryer are awesome! Washer has an agitator, yay, and so far no issues with getting off balance on the spin cycle. Dryer dries in one cycle. These are much better than the 4 year old Maytags I just got rid of!

After 3 years of owning this it's rusty and broken the parts are expensive. We trashed it and went with a different brand. Very say biggest waste of money ever! 20 years is based on doing 4 loads a week not a day. If you have a big family don't bother.

I hate this appliance more than any appliance I've ever bought. I have leveled it out more than a dozen times and it still works its way across my laundry room. None of the other washing machines I've owned have done this. I have tried putting a rubber mat under it, rubber feet ... and yet I cringe every time this thing starts spinning. Customer service is horrible and I can't get a straight answer out of them. I've never hated an appliance more than I hate this Speed Queen. Don't buy one!

I have had my machine for several months. It does a good job cleaning and the clothes don't get wrapped around the machine. It also doesn't get unbalanced. I like the 30 minute cycle and that it's an old school machine. Although it is quite loud when agitating but behind a door you don't hear it as much.
