For now, I am giving this review because it does not work. I called whirlpool and they have yet to get back with me to assign a repair man to fix it. It™€™s brand new and it has never worked.

Not a good choice for us

We have always had a portable dish washer but then had to go with a built in because we had issues with the faucet when the dish washer was hooked up. We bought this dish washer to fit in the cabinet size we have. Unfortunately this dish washer is too small for our use. I hate it but my husband stated this was our only option since we only had so much room without changing the cabinet. The portable one was much bigger and we didn't have trouble with buttons going on when touched. The electronic buttons go on if accidently pressed or touched to open the dishwasher. We then had trouble figuring out how to get the message light off. Directions were not very clear. You aren't allowed to put a lot of bowls in the basin; it's mostly for plates how it is designed on the bottom which we don't like so both times that we ran it there were some dishes that were not clean. It was just a bad choice on our part. We will continue to buy Whirlpool products.

Not thrilled but it's the only size that would fit

Dishes come out clean & it runs pretty quiet. The tines are not far enough apart on the bottom shelf so it's difficult to load bowls or anything but flat dishes.

Overpriced but looks nice and works well

Installed two weeks ago and all is well™€¦not bad for the smaller size though inwish they made smaller detergent pods considering, though manual powder is always an option. Not loud, cleans well, though a basic cycle is some 2.5 hours! And I™€™m saving water they say? I™€™ll see on next month™€™s water bill if that™€™s the case. This is a $1K retail that was on sale for $650™€¦there are a few other brands that are likely equal for only the $500-$600 range regular price so SHOP AROUND FIRST. Many mounting options to make it secure in its space, including adjustable feet.

NIGHTMARE!

Horrible 5/1/2024

Overall, this whole experience with whirlpool and the dishwasher has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! First, I received the dishwasher damaged with a scratch on it. I called whirlpool and they said I could either take a $70 credit or I could wait and see if the dishwasher was in stock to be shipped out at some undisclosed future date. Both choices seemed unfair and were not desirable, yet those were my only options and the customer service person was very unsympathetic and almost rude about it. I had ordered a cord with my dishwasher and the instillation technician said that it already came with one but was deceptive that on the suggestions when ordering suggests it but doesn't clearly state that the dishwasher comes with one. The technician said that he would take it back and my account would be refunded. It was never refunded. When I asked customer service to refund me, she rudely said that she could only credit my whirlpool account for it and it was my fault I should have never ordered one. Then, the 3rd time running it, it broke and stopped mid cycle with water still in it. I was told it would be 2 weeks for a technician to come out to take a look. The technician looked at it and found that it was a faulty control panel and it is a known issue with the model and that the part is on back order and it could be a month before it is in. I just received a call (a week later)that it will another month before the part is back in stock. Now here I am with no dishwasher and still water stinking up my house and the contracted technician customer service refuses to have someone come out and get the water out while I continue to wait for the part (estimated 6 weeks from break down of dishwasher). When I called whirlpool to convey my concerns and my troubles they were again, unapologetic and unempathetic, basically telling me oh well and get over it, there's nothing they can do. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. THIS COMPANY DOES NOT VALUE CUSTOMERS AND DOES NOT PROVIDE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
