Disappearing buttons

We had Lennar build us a new home. We chose the upgraded kitchen package which included Electrolux appliances. The wall oven has electronic buttons that "disappear" when the unit is off. It takes a fair amount of tapping all over the panel to get it to light up so we can turn on and set the temp. Very annoying!

I love how many options this oven has. I used the meat probe for prime rib and it cooked it perfectly., no need to keep checking the thermometer. I look forward to trying out all the features. I had to call customer service because the probe was missing from the builder who installed it. They were very attentive and understanding and got it to me so quickly.

It came with our house (so I didn't do any shopping around/price comparison). I've used it under 100 times over 4 months, and it works perfectly fine. The "Wave touch" controls took some time to learn. The fans seem to help cook the food pretty evenly.

I've had my Electrolux wall oven for 10 years now and I wouldn't trade it for any other model. It features everything I need except a oven with a rotisserie, I'll wait until they come out with that to replace mine. I had to have it repaired once the oven light would not go out and the price to repair wasn't bad at all.

Horrible customer service; I simply cannot recommend Electrolux appliances. After writing a lengthy letter to the President I was told by his surrogate "he will never see this" - much to my chagrin. Be careful not to jump too quickly into Electrolux products!

Came with a new house, builder used this brand. Bakes well, wife likes it, seems to have a lot of features we have not used yet. When not being used the control panel blacks out with only the clock showing. You have to push a blacked out icon to wake the panel up. Would be nice if it woke up when you opened the door?

I have had this for severalMonths now. Holiday baking was amazing with this wonderful convection oven. I love the convection broil feature too. Never had this before and it is great for fish and meats. Also the proofing oven is a wonderful feature. I made some amazing bread. I have never had bread rice so high.

The temperature fluctuates while baking. Both with convention and convection. Up to 50°. It is incredibly difficult to bake with this oven.

This oven is very different from what I've had before. I must admit that I still keep the instruction book out even after 6 weeks, but it's worth it. The oven is very efficient and intuitive. Bakes and roasts very well. Even heat with correct temperatures.

The oven is very nice and works well - but it would be even better if the controls were somewhat visible versus being invisible unless you touch a certain spot on the screen. Also, the touch sensitive feature is not sensitive enough...you sometimes need to press a number or function several times to get it going. Just lacks finishing touches and attention to detail.

I bought the 30" Electric Single Wall Oven with Wave-Touch® Controls in December 2018 and have been using it since. What I was was surprised with is that the Electrolux Wall Oven is so user friendly that my 9 year operates it flawlessly, as it is also so easy to use. The entire family has enjoyed on multiple occasions fresh baked cakes, cookies, pies and even BBQ meat dishes. Also looks great in the kitchen and a great conversation starter with friends that are visiting.

I am still learning but have adequate success baking. I have noticed that items cook unevenly when using 2 racks. The meat on the bottom rack does not cook as fast. I have not used the oven to broil steaks yet. I™€™m afraid that the oven will generate a lot of smoke. I love the light in the oven. I can see the food fairly well as it™€™s cooking.
